LIMITED SCOPE REPRESENTATION

Full representation may be cost prohibitive in certain circumstances. Limited-scope representation allows clients greater control over how an attorney is involved in their case. It is similar to an a la carte menu at a restaurant — clients choose what services they want and need. While limited scope representation is not an option in certain scenarios, it is often a way to effectively control costs while reaping the benefits of professional representation.

Some examples of limited scope assistance include:
  • Drafting of initial pleadings (Complaints/Motions)
  • Drafting of responsive pleadings
  • Review and explanation of legal documents
  • In certain circumstances, limited representation in the courtroom
